What is "Meta-Quartz"?

As its name suggests, Meta-Quartz is a type of quartz, that is, a silica mineral whose particularity lies in its extreme capacity to store, condense, and specially release energy through its piezoelectric capabilities, in addition to possessing an incredible affinity with the Chaos Energy.

This mineral can be found exclusively (as far as is known) in the territory corresponding to the elusive Kingdom of Acorn, in the middle of the vast forest north of the United Federation. It is said that the first deposit was excavated 125 years ago, but there are historical records of the kingdom that mention the mineral dating back more than two millennia.

Meta-Quartz is capable of “absorbing” and releasing all types of energy, from the most common, such as electrical and thermal, to radioactive, to more unusual forms such as kinetic energy. However, Meta-Quartz is most notable when subjected to Chaos Energy.

The Chaos Energy, found in various powerful Gems such as the iconic Chaos Emeralds, the mythical Master Emerald, the Time Stones of Little Planet, the missing Phantom Ruby, and the Distortion Topaz, is a type of energy that is difficult to classify, analyze, and, above all, master.
